 Adebayo Adewakun, a seasoned Architect with over 26 years experience in the profession, is the principal partner of B-Waks Consultants, a reputable firm of architects based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has handled several celebrated projects among which are the Gateway International Hotel, Otta, Ogun State; former FSB International Bank Head Office, Ikoyi, Lagos and former Standard Trust Bank (STB) Head Office in Victoria Island, Lagos. Until his appointment as a director of Spring Bank Plc, Adewakun was an Internal Managing Director at Bank PHB.
Adewakun received his tertiary education at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Yaba, where he obtained his first and second degrees in Architecture. At UNILAG, he won the University prize for the ‘Best Science Student in General African Studies’ as well as the ‘Postgraduate Distinction Bursary Award’. He is a registered member of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). He has attended several courses both locally and internationally. |
