Speaking in Lagos during the launch of SpringOne account, Spring savings Plus account and Spring Stars Kiddies account, the Product Manager of the Bank Mrs. Nkechi Madu, disclosed that the products are packed with highly attractive benefits, taking into consideration the needs of its various customers. She said the bank has always been at the forefront of providing quality services.

 

The SpringOne account is a current account targeted at employees in the private and public sectors. It bundles various banking services into a single portfolio so as to meet the basic banking needs of an average employee. She stated that the features include providing automatic access to a 12-month revolving salary advance and overdraft, standing order for bills payment, Zero COT for non-borrowing accounts, provision of a cheque clearing current account, easy access to Spring Wealth – a consumer loans facility among others.

 

The benefits of the Spring One account include an interest rate of two percent per annum, online account operation option, free debit card, transaction alert services, access to financial advisory services, access interest and mobile banking facilities.

 

Spring Savings Plus is a hybrid account that provides the high interest rate benefit of a savings account and the checking convenience of a current account with free COT. The account which requires an opening balance of N10,000 and a minimum operating balance of N10,000 also, attracts a 30-day bonus interest rate of one percent per annum and goes along with a customized non-clearing cheque book, free debit card and standing order payments.

 

According to Madu, customers are presented with the opportunity to enjoy higher interest rate, free internet banking, access to other electronic banking services, privileges of lodgment and withdrawal at any of the bank’s branches, lodgment of cheques and dividend warrants among others.

 

The Spring Stars Kiddies account for children and account teenagers is a children’s saving account that combines educational savings schemes for kiddies in primary, junior and senior secondary schools. This account presents the holders with the opportunity to join an internet children’s club, qualify them for a chance to be awarded a scholarship among other numerous benefits.
